NanoScan turns a smartphone into a powerful pocket scanner, catering to the digitization needs of students and professionals. It eliminates the need for bulky hardware scanners by using advanced image processing to capture, crop, and enhance documents on the fly. It is an essential tool for archiving notes, receipts, and official documents.

The app features automatic edge detection to crop documents perfectly against any background. It offers multiple filters (Magic Color, B&W, Grayscale) to enhance readability. Users can organize scans into folders, share them as PDFs or JPEGs, and even protect sensitive documents with a PIN code. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is also integrated for extracting text from images.

We utilized the native Android Camera API for high-resolution capture and OpenCV for image processing tasks like perspective correction and thresholding. The app is built with Flutter for a smooth UI, while efficient file handling ensures that storage usage is minimized without compromising image quality.
